Raised in Los Osos, California, Dr. Tiffany Smart graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Biology before completing her doctorate of Optometry at the University of California at Berkeley. Her education included internships at Portland and Palo Alto VA hospitals where she specifically studied eye disease and geriatric eye care.

On the Central Coast, Dr. Smart practices primary eye care and medical eye care, and is trained and licensed to treat glaucoma. She speaks French and clinical Spanish and believes in building lasting relationships with her patients. She is an active member of the California Optometric Association and a past-president of the Tri-County Optometric Society.

She enjoys spending extra time with her family, learning foreign languages, and getting outside on the weekends.
